Dedicating to Serving Our Community
At Houston Northwest Medical Center, we truly believe “it is better to give than to receive.” As part of the north Houston community for more than 45 years, we take our commitment to the health of our community seriously. We believe that a spirit of giving helps strengthen our organization and encourages our team to provide the quality, innovative care you’ve come to expect from us.
Our Community Involvement
We’re proud to be able to give back to our community in a variety of ways at Houston Northwest. This includes helping through programs for the uninsured, supporting local infrastructure and community programs through local taxes and providing local charities designed to support those in our community. Our local charities include:
- Klein ISD Education Foundation
- Spring ISD Education Foundation
- Lone Star College Foundation
- Northwest Assistance Ministries
Financial Assistance Programs
We truly believe all people deserve to receive the health care they need. That’s why we’ve adopted Tenet’s Compact With Uninsured Patients policy. The program offers discount rates to all uninsured patients who receive treatment at our hospital, regardless of their income level. Learn more about the programs we offer for uninsured and underinsured individuals.
Classes and Events
In an effort to help improve the health of our entire community, we also provide education and support for our community with classes and health events throughout the year.
Contributing to the Local Economy
As part of an investor-owned hospital system, we pay more than $5.2 million in local taxes toward the improvement of local infrastructure and to support community programs. Read our 2015 Community Impact Brochure that highlights how the spirit of giving and compassion strengthens our organization and encourages staff members to provide quality, innovative care to all our patients.
At Houston Northwest, we’re thankful for the opportunity to serve and enrich the north Houston community.
